Jenny offers individual art therapy* and traditional mental health counseling to patients.  She employs a patient-centered approach aimed at helping individuals meet their clinical goals in treatment.  Jenny’s mission is to create a safe therapeutic environment in which patients can develop coping strategies to manage life’s difficulties.  

Jenny is also committed to a multicultural approach to psychotherapy – she works with patients to understand how their social locations impact their mental health and wellbeing.

ACADEMIC RESEARCH

Long Island University (Case Study: Immigrant Adolescents and Ethnic Identity Development) 2015-2016: Jenny’s academic research has focused on issues regarding identity, the sense of belonging, and self-esteem. 


*Art therapy is the use of creative expression to process emotions.  Jenny and her patients will collaborate to decide if art therapy is indicated to treat the patient’s presenting issue.
